Job Position: Construction Laborer
Location: Kansas City, KS 66111
Pay Rate: $21.00/hr
Shift: 1st Shift
Description: Job Duties/Responsibilities
– Perform general labor tasks in the yard, including loading, unloading, and moving materials.
– Assist with the production, preparation, and installation of precast concrete products.
– Operate basic hand tools and equipment commonly used in concrete manufacturing.
– Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
– Inspect and handle materials to ensure quality and conformance to standards.
– Work collaboratively with team members to meet production schedules and deadlines.
– Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures while working in the yard.
– Perform other duties as assigned to support operations.
Qualifications & Requirements
– Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds consistently throughout the workday.
– Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
– Strong physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
– Basic understanding of workplace safety practices and procedures.
– Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
– No specific educational background required; willingness to learn and adapt to the role is essential.
– Previous experience in construction or precast concrete manufacturing is a plus but not required.
