Job Title: Conventional Machinist
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Conventional Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining operations, including honing, grinding, line reaming, and boring, with a proven track record of over 5 years in the field. Proficiency in operating manual lathes and Bridgeport machines is essential. Responsibilities

Perform precision machining tasks using manual lathes and Bridgeport machines.

Execute honing and grinding operations with attention to detail and accuracy.

Conduct line reaming and boring processes to meet exact specifications.

Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.

Maintain high-quality standards by inspecting and measuring finished products.

Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues to ensure smooth operations.

Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a conventional machinist.

At least 5 years of hands-on experience in honing and grinding.

Proficiency in operating manual lathes and Bridgeport machines.

Skilled in line reaming and boring techniques.

Strong understanding of machining principles and processes.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
