Description: Job Duties/Responsibilities
– Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes, portion control, and quality standards.
– Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.
– Monitor food storage and inventory, ensuring proper handling and minimizing waste.
– Assist in menu planning, including suggesting new recipes or improving existing ones.
– Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations.
– Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and delivery.
– Operate and maintain kitchen tools and equipment, such as ovens, grills, and mixers.
Qualifications & Requirements
– Basic understanding of cooking techniques and food preparation processes.
– Familiarity with kitchen tools, equipment, and safety procedures.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
– Strong organizational and time management skills.
– Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
– Willingness to adhere to health and safety regulations in the kitchen.
– Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle the demands of a kitchen environment.
