Description: Job Duties/Responsibilities
– Operate yard vehicles to transport concrete precast products and materials within the manufacturing facility’s yard.
– Safely maneuver and park vehicles, ensuring proper placement of goods at designated locations.
– Conduct routine inspections of vehicles to ensure operational safety, including checking tires, brakes, lights, and fluid levels.
– Assist with loading and unloading products as needed, ensuring proper handling to avoid damage.
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard area to promote efficient operations.
– Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding transportation schedules and product locations.
– Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and protocols while operating machinery and vehicles.
Qualifications & Requirements
– Must be capable of driving vehicles with a stick shift or manual transmission.
– Ability to operate yard vehicles safely in a manufacturing environment.
– Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
– Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
– Physical ability to lift, move, or position materials as required.
– Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors.
– Willingness to adhere to safety standards and work in outdoor conditions.
