Job Duties/Responsibilities
– Operate sit down forklifts and cranes to retrieve, move, and place products or materials at varying heights within a warehouse or storage facility.
– Safely load and unload items while adhering to weight and balance regulations.
– Follow safety protocols and company guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain a secure work environment.
– Assist with inventory management, including picking, packing, and organizing items.
– Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity goals and ensure timely order fulfillment.
– Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
– Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring clear pathways for equipment and personnel.
Qualifications & Requirements
– Required experience operating sit down forklifts and cranes in a warehouse or industrial setting (forklift certified is a big plus).
– Familiarity with warehouse operations, including picking, packing, and inventory processes.
– Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines for operating heavy equipment.
– Ability to work comfortably at heights and maneuver in tight spaces.
– Basic physical fitness to lift, carry, and move heavy items as needed.
– Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
– Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
