Job Position: Mold Technician
Location: LAWRENCE, KS 66049
Pay Rate: $27.00/hr
Shift: 3rd
Description: Job Duties/Responsibilities
– Set up, operate, and maintain injection molding machines and related equipment to ensure efficient production processes.
– Perform mold changes, adjustments, and troubleshooting to optimize machine performance and product quality.
– Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet established quality standards.
– Conduct regular maintenance and cleaning of molds and equipment to prevent downtime and ensure proper functionality.
– Collaborate with production and quality teams to identify and resolve issues related to molding processes.
– Monitor and adjust machine settings to maintain consistent production rates and product specifications.
– Document production activities, including machine settings, maintenance logs, and quality checks.
– Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
– Familiarity with injection molding machines, tools, and processes.
– Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
– Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
– Basic understanding of machine maintenance and troubleshooting techniques.
– Attention to detail to ensure product quality and adherence to specifications.
– Physical ability to lift and handle molds or equipment as required.
– Effective communication skills to work within a team environment.
– Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings or weekends, as needed.
