Job Position: Mold Technician

Description: Job Duties/Responsibilities
– Set up, operate, and maintain injection molding machines and related equipment.
– Perform mold installations and changes according to production schedules and specifications.
– Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mold performance, machine operation, and product quality.
– Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of molds, machines, and work areas.
– Monitor the molding process to ensure product quality and adherence to specifications.
– Adjust machine settings and parameters to optimize production efficiency and minimize waste.
– Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
– Maintain accurate records of production activities, mold changes, and maintenance tasks.
– Identify and report any safety or operational concerns to management.
Qualifications & Requirements
– Familiarity with injection molding machines, tools, and processes.
– Proficiency in using tools and equipment related to mold installation and maintenance.
– Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
– Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
– Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of machinery operations.
– Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
– Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
– Physical ability to lift and handle molds and equipment as required.
– Willingness to adhere to workplace safety standards and protocols.
