Pinnacle Staffing is looking for an Order Selector for a great client in Denver, CO!
Shift: Mon-Fri 7:30am-4pm
Pay Rate: $20.50/hr
Job Duties/Responsibilities
– Accurately select and pick products based on customer orders using pick sheets, handheld scanners, or voice-pick systems.
– Organize and stack items onto pallets or carts in a manner that ensures safe transportation and minimizes product damage.
– Verify the accuracy of picked orders by cross-referencing item descriptions, quantities, and codes with order sheets.
– Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or electric pallet movers as required.
– Ensure all orders are labeled and prepared for shipment or delivery according to company standards.
– Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse or picking area to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
– Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily order fulfillment quotas and deadlines.
– Report any inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, or equipment malfunctions to supervisors promptly.
– Follow safety protocols and company policies to ensure compliance with operational standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
– Ability to read and interpret order sheets, labels, and other documentation accurately.
– Familiarity with warehouse operations and commonly used tools or systems, such as handheld scanners or voice-picking technology.
– Physical ability to lift, carry, and move items of varying weights (up to company-specified limits) and stand or walk for extended periods.
– Basic organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and ensure timely order completion.
– Experience operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts is preferred, but training may be provided if necessary.
– Strong attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and quality of orders.
– Willingness to work in varying warehouse conditions, such as temperature-controlled or non-climate-controlled environments.
– Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with other staff members.
